If any part of the cabinet or structure you have selected for use with your griddle is made from combustible materials (wood, plastic, etc.) your griddle MUST be used with the Blackstone insulating jacket. For your safety the insulating jacket must be permanently secured to your cabinet or structure. Please note, even with the use of an insulating jacket, any vertical combustible construction (walls, backsplash, etc.) must be 6 inches away from the appliance. 

Please note we do have a 36" insulating jacket sold separately, SKU 6430. The dimensions of the insulating jackets are different than the dimensions of the griddle & jacket combos.    

If installed under overhead combustible construction, the griddle must be installed in conjunction with a suitable Ul710 or UlC S646 approved heavy duty vent hood only. 

At least 6” distance from the sides and back of the appliance to vertical combustible construction (36” if the jacket is not used).  

All openings must be permanently open; sliding doors, garage doors, windows or screened openings are not considered permanent openings.  

SKU 5958 is designed to work with the 36" Drop-in Griddle.

Your unit comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty for replacement parts.
