Ingredients

2 cups Standard Pancake Baking Mix (Gluten-Free, if preferred)

1 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 cup Buttermilk

1 cup Unsweetened Applesauce

2 tbsp Brown Sugar

1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Butter for cooking
Toppings:
-
Jarred Pecan Apple Butter or Apple Butter
-
Powdered Sugar for topping
-
Caramel Sauce
-
Maple Syrup of choice
Directions
Preheat the griddle to medium-low heat.
In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients.
Once the griddle is heated, pour the pancake batter onto the griddle to your desired pancake size.
Add 1 tbsp of butter to the griddle and circle around the pancakes for a crispy edge.
While the first side of the pancakes is cooking, on the griddle top in a small saucepan, heat 1/2 cup or 1 cup of Apple Butter.
Once you see bubbles form and the pancakes lifting, flip them.
Serve the pancakes stacked with your desired amount of heated Apple Butter.
Optional Toppings: Sprinkle powdered sugar, drizzle caramel sauce, and add Maple Syrup. Enjoy!
