Big Mac Hotdogs with Better Buns

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup relish
- 1 Tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp minced onions
- Cooking oil (for griddle)
- 4 all-beef hot dogs
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 loaf of wide, bakery-fresh French or Italian bread
- Butter, for toasting buns
- Dill pickles, thinly sliced
- Sesame seeds
- 8 slices American cheese
- Shredded lettuce

Directions
- Preheat your Blackstone griddle to low or medium-low heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, mayonnaise, relish, mustard, white vinegar, and minced onions. Set aside.
- Drizzle oil onto the griddle and place the hot dogs on it. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Roll the hot dogs occasionally with tongs to ensure even browning. Cook for 15-20 minutes, until the hot dogs are heated through and browned. For faster cooking, you can increase the temperature, but be sure to monitor them closely and turn them more frequently.
- Cut the loaf of bread into pieces about 1 1/2 inches thick. Slice each piece halfway through to create space for the hot dog. Spread butter on the griddle and place the buns on it. Toast them on both sides until lightly browned, then remove them from the griddle.
- Brush the top of each toasted bun with melted butter, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Once the hot dogs are browned, place two slices of American cheese inside each bun. Add a hot dog on top. Place the buns with cheese and hot dogs back on the griddle, drizzle a little water around them, and cover with a basting cover for about 1 minute, allowing the cheese to melt.
- Remove the buns from the griddle. Layer shredded lettuce on the bottom of each bun. Place the hot dog with melted cheese on top of the lettuce. Add dill pickle slices and drizzle with the special sauce.
