2 ½ cups all-purpose flour (reserve ½ cup)
1/3 cup sugar
4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
2 cups buttermilk
1 ½ cup fresh blueberries
1 stick butter, melted
1 cup powdered sugar
3 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
In a medium bowl add flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and buttermilk. Fold to combine.
In a small bowl, add ½ cup flour and blueberries. Mix to combine. Fold the blueberries into the batter until well combined.
Melt 1 stick butter and add to 8x8 baking dish. Pour the biscuit batter over the melted butter and spread evenly. Using a butter knife, score the biscuits into 9 even squares.
Preheat E Series oven to 450˚. Bake the biscuits for 25-30 minutes.
While the biscuits are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over the warm biscuits once they’ve finished baking.
