Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
Directions
- Set your Blackstone griddle to low heat and place six 4-inch cast iron skillets or a 6-cup muffin pan on top to preheat.
Use an infrared thermometer if you have one—aim for a surface temperature between 325°F and 375°F to avoid overheating.
- Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Add the eggs and whisk until smooth.
- Stir in the baking soda, salt, flour, and cocoa powder until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips. The batter will be thick.
- Divide the batter evenly among the 6 skillets or muffin cups.
Cover with a basting dome and cook for 15–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
- Remove from the griddle and let the brownies cool slightly. Top with ice cream if you’d like, and enjoy!
