Ingredients
- 6 beef patties (smash style, ~3 oz each)

6 slices American cheese
-
3 buns
-
Smoked sausage
- Gator pickles (or any spicy pickles)
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tbsp sweet relish

1 tsp Blackstone Cajun seasoning (or Cajun seasoning of choice)

1 tsp Whiskey Burger seasoning (optional)

Sautéed onions, bell peppers, and celery (the Cajun “Holy Trinity”)
Cajun sauce:

Directions
- Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, Cajun seasoning, and whiskey burger seasoning in a bowl to make the sauce and set aside.
- Slice smoked sausage on a slight angle into pieces that will fit on the burger.
- Heat your griddle or skillet on medium-high and add a light layer of oil.
- Place the beef patties on the hot surface and smash them thin with a spatula. Season lightly with Cajun seasoning, cook for about 2–3 minutes per side, and add cheese after flipping.
- While the burgers cook, add the sausage slices to the griddle and cook until browned.
- Butter the buns and toast until golden.
- Spread sauce on the bottom bun, add one cheesy patty, stack another patty on top, and place a piece of smoked sausage over the patties.
- Add pickles, more sauce, and optional sautéed onions, bell peppers, and celery.
- Finish with the top bun and serve hot.
