Preheat a 10-inch cast iron skillet in the Leggero Pizza Oven to 400°F.
Remove the preheated skillet from the oven and place the butter in it. Let the butter melt completely.
Stir in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract into the melted butter. Allow this mixture to cool for 5 minutes.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and egg yolk until well combined.
Add the whisked eggs into the cooled butter-sugar mixture. Whisk until fully incorporated.
Mix in the salt, baking soda, and flour until a smooth dough forms.
Gently stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the cookie dough.
Place the skillet back into the Leggero Pizza Oven.
Bake for 7-10 minutes or until the cookie is golden brown on the edges but still soft in the center.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Serve warm with scoops of vanilla ice cream on top.
