Classic Margherita Pizza
Makes 1 pizza Time: 15 minutes Difficulty: Intermediate
Ingredients
- 1 portion Blackstone pizza dough
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella, torn into chunks
- 8 basil leaves
- ½ cup vine ripened crushed tomatoes or San Marzano tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 pinch sea salt
Directions
- Turn Blackstone pizza oven to medium-high heat.
- Stretch the pizza dough and spread out the crushed tomatoes. Lay out the fresh mozzarella evenly over the pizza.
- Cook pizza for 4 minutes or until done. Crust should be crispy, and the cheese fully melted.
- Top pizza with fresh basil, a light drizzle of olive oil, and a sprinkle of sea salt.
