Beef stroganoff, a hearty dish that will leave you feeling satisfied and content. Tender beef strips are smothered in a savory mushroom sauce, and served over a bed of egg noodles. With its warm and comforting taste, this dish is perfect for any occasion.
1 yellow onion, sliced
8 ounces brown mushrooms, quartered
1 pound beef bottom round, thinly sliced
1 (16-ounce) bag egg noodles, cooked
1 (8-ounce) tub sour cream
1 (10.5-ounce) can beef gravy
1 bunch green onions, sliced
½ cup crispy onions
Salt and pepper, to taste
Vegetable oil, for the griddle
Preheat Blackstone griddle to medium heat. Drizzle vegetable oil then add the onions and mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the sliced steak to the griddle. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3 minutes until well done. Add the cooked noodles to the griddle and stir with spatulas until the meat and mushrooms are evenly mixed.
Pour the sour cream and gravy over the noodles. Stir with spatulas for 2 minutes until a creamy sauce is formed, coating the meat and noodles.
Use spatulas to set the stroganoff onto a large serve platter. Top with the crispy onions and green onions. Serve immediately.
