Ingredients
- Cooking oil (for griddle)
- 4 all-beef hot dogs

Blackstone's Essential Blend Seasoning (or salt, pepper, and garlic)
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 loaf of wide bakery-fresh French or Italian bread
- Mayonnaise
- Ketchup
- Mustard
Directions
Preheat your Blackstone griddle to low heat.
Lightly score the hot dogs to help them absorb flavors better. Drizzle oil on the griddle, place the hot dogs down, and season them with Blackstone's Essential Blend (or salt, pepper, and garlic) to taste. Roll the hot dogs frequently using tongs as they cook.
Cook the hot dogs for 15-20 minutes, until they are heated through and nicely browned. They can be cooked faster at higher temperatures, but you'll need to watch them closely and turn them more often.
Place the diced onions on the griddle with some oil, seasoning as desired. Stir occasionally while cooking.
Cut the loaf of bread into 2-inch-thick pieces. Slice each piece halfway down the center to create a space for the hot dog. Spread mayo on the outside of each bun and place them on the griddle. Once lightly browned, flip to the other side. Remove the buns from the griddle when they are toasted on both sides.
Place one hot dog in each bun. Top with grilled onions, ketchup, and mustard as desired.
