Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/4 cup Jelly
- 4 slices of bread (thick-sliced, such as brioche, challah, or plain white bread)
- 1/2 stick of butter (for frying)
- Powdered sugar (for serving)
- 3 large eggs
- 1/3 cup flavored coffee creamer (brown sugar flavored; you can substitute with heavy cream)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1.5 tablespoons cinnamon
- A pinch of sea salt
- 1 stick of softened unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt
Egg Mixture
Strawberry Butter
Directions
Combine strawberry butter ingredients using a food processor. Refrigerate butter until ready to use.
Make two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, set aside.
Preheat a Blackstone griddle to low heat. In a shallow dish whisk together the egg mixture until well combined.
Melt butter on Griddle, dip one sandwich at a time into the egg mixture coating both sides and place in the melted butter. Allow each side to cook for 3-5 minutes per side or until golden brown.
Serve French toast dusted with powder sugar, strawberry butter and maple syrup (optional).
