Pork Chops and Sauerkraut

Ingredients
- 4-5 bone-in pork chops (can be boneless as well)
- 1 apple
- 1 sweet onion
- 2 jars sauerkraut
- 1-2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
Directions
Preheat the Blackstone griddle on low heat.
Slice the onion and apple.
Apply half of the avocado oil on one side of the griddle and sauté onions and apples.
In the middle of the griddle, add the remaining oil and increase heat to medium.
Season one side of the pork chops with half of the salt and pepper. Place the seasoned side down onto the griddle where the oil is, and season the other side.
Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Remove the pork chops from the griddle and add the sauerkraut to the area where the pork chops were cooking. The kraut will help release the fond from the griddle, which is a good thing! Let the kraut cook to heat through, and add any juice from the chops to the kraut.
Add the pork chops to the kraut to finish cooking them through (till reaching an internal temperature of 140 degrees).
Transfer the cooked dish to a serving platter and enjoy!
