Steamed Ranch Carrots



  • 12 Petite Carrots
  • 1 Packet Dry Ranch Dressing/Seasoning Mix
  • 2 Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Water


  1. In a large bowl, combine carrots, ranch seasoning mix, and olive oil. Stir until well-combined and all the carrots are coated evenly with oil and seasoning.

  2. Heat griddle to medium-high heat and cover evenly with a small amount of olive oil.

  3. Add carrots to the griddle and let cook for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally.

  4. Add 2-3 Tbsp water to the pile of carrots to generate steam. Cover carrot pile with basting cover or similar metal dish.

  5. Every 2-3 minutes remove basting cover, toss carrots, add 2-3 Tbsp water, and re-cover with basting cover to continue steaming.

  6. Cook carrots for approximately 12 minutes or to desired tenderness.
