1 package Jimmy Dean® ground sausage (Maple, Original, or Country Mild)
1 pre-baked flatbread, naan, or thin pizza crust
1 tbsp olive oil or butter (plus more as needed)
3 large eggs
¼ cup milk or cream
3 slices Cooper Sharp cheese, torn into pieces
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup diced onion
½ cup diced bell peppers (any color)
1 tsp Blackstone Sweet Maple Seasoning (plus extra for vegetables)
Chopped green onions and parsley, for garnish
Directions
Preheat your Blackstone Griddle to medium heat.
Add the sausage to the griddle, breaking it up as it cooks. Brown until fully cooked and slightly crisp, then move it to a cooler zone of the griddle to keep warm.
Drizzle oil or melt butter on the griddle. Add the diced onions and bell peppers and sprinkle with additional Blackstone Sweet Maple Seasoning. Cook until softened and lightly caramelized. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and 1 teaspoon Blackstone Sweet Maple Seasoning. Melt butter on the griddle over low heat and pour in the egg mixture. Cook low and slow, gently folding as the eggs set. When nearly cooked through, add the torn Cooper Sharp cheese and fold until creamy and fully melted. Remove from the griddle.
Lightly oil the griddle and place the flatbread or crust down. Toast for 1–2 minutes, or until the bottom is lightly crisp.
Spread the cheesy scrambled eggs evenly over the crust. Top with the cooked sausage, then sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Cover with a dome and cook for 2–3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Top with the sautéed onions and peppers. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and parsley. Slice and serve hot.
