Teriyaki Beef Kabobs

Serves 4-6 Time: 1 hour Difficulty: Easy


  • 2 pounds beef strip steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ½ cup light soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon ginger powder
  • Olive oil, for the griddle


  1. In a sealable, gallon-sized plastic bag, combine all ingredients. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes but up to 8 hours. The longer the meat marinades, the better the flavor will be.
  2. Heat griddle to high heat and drizzle a thin layer of olive oil.
  3. Thread your beef onto skewers and place on hot griddle and cook for approximately 8 minutes, rotating every 2 minutes to cook evenly on all sides.
  4. Cook to desired doneness (internal temp of 145 degrees for medium).
  5. Remove from griddle and serve.
