Ingredients
- 1 pound 80/20 ground chuck
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (I use W sauce brand)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Blackstone Essentials Blend (or your favorite all-purpose seasoning)
- 1-2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup diced onions (optional)
- 1/4 cup diced green peppers (optional)
- Hamburger buns of your choice (I like Martin's potato rolls)
- Mayonnaise for buns (optional)
- American cheese slices (optional)
Directions
Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat. Add the ground beef to the griddle and cook it until it's browned and almost fully cooked through. Break up any large chunks of meat with a spatula as you cook it. Drain any excess grease if needed.
Add the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, Blackstone Essentials Blend, red wine vinegar, diced onions, and diced green peppers to the griddle with the beef. Mix everything together until the beef is fully coated in the sauce and the vegetables are cooked through. Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning as needed.
While the meat is cooking, toast your hamburger buns on the griddle until they're golden brown. Spread mayonnaise on the buns if desired.
Once the meat is fully cooked and the vegetables are tender, spoon the Sloppy Joe mixture onto the toasted buns. Add a slice of American cheese if desired.
Serve the Sloppy Joes immediately and enjoy!
