Margherita Grilled Cheese
Serves 4 Time: 15 minutes Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 8 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
- 12 slices tomato
- Garlic pepper seasoning, to taste
- Fresh basil leaves
- Olive oil, for the griddle
Directions
- Assemble the sandwiches. Layer bread, cheese, tomato slices, basil, and cheese again. Sprinkle garlic pepper on top of the other piece of bread. Brush the outside of the sandwich with olive oil.
- Turn your griddle on medium-low heat. Add more olive oil to the griddle and toast each side of the sandwich until golden brown.
