Directions
- Add the carne asada to a large bowl. Season with Blackstone Street Taco Seasoning, garlic powder, Maggi seasoning sauce, black pepper, lemon juice, mandarin juice, and cilantro. Mix well until the meat is evenly coated, then marinate for 5–10 minutes.
Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat. Place a griddle-safe pan or tray filled with frying oil on the griddle and allow the oil to heat.
Add a small amount of oil to the griddle, then add the marinated carne asada. Cook until browned and lightly charred around the edges and cooked to your desired doneness. Taste and add salt if needed.
Remove the carne asada from the griddle and chop into small pieces.
Place an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface. Add a generous amount of chopped carne asada and shredded cheese to the center.
Fold the sides of the wrapper inward, then roll tightly. Brush the final edge with beaten egg and press to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
Carefully add the egg rolls to the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
Remove from the oil and allow any excess oil to drain.
Top with sour cream and chopped cilantro. Serve immediately with your favorite salsa for dipping.
