Pre heat one zone of your Blackstone on medium high and one on low.
When your Blackstone is warmed up add 1lb of 90/10 ground beef to the medium high and brown your beef. While it’s cooking add a little olive oil next to the beef and add your yellow onions to cook. Toss occasionally and season with kosher salt and black pepper. Be sure to check on your beef and toss occasionally to cook throughout and evenly.
Once your beef is cooked season with Blackstone Whiskey Burger Seasoning and add a generous amount of shredded cheese. Roughly 1-1 1/2 cups shredded cheese and toss all your ingredients together. At this point you can turn the one zone heat off leaving only your low heat zone. Incorporate thoroughly and allow the cheese to melt.
While your cheese gets nice and melty add a little olive oil to the low heat zone and toast your hoagie buns. Once lightly toasted it’s time to assemble.
To assemble your sandwich add a light drizzle of bbq sauce to both sides. On one side add your sliced tomato, shredded lettuce, and your beef cheese and onion. Now it’s time to top off the beef with your chili cheese Fritos, another drizzle of bbq sauce and a light post dusting of the Whiskey Burger seasoning and enjoy!
