Frog Legs 3 Ways

Ingredients:
- 24 Frog Legs
- 2 Eggs
- ½ cup Half and Half
- Bayou Blend Seasoning
- 3 cups Zatarain’s Frying Mix (any bread crumb mixture will work)
- Oil
- 3 tsp Sesame Oil
- ½ cup Soy Sauce
- 1 cube Butter
- Hot Sauce, to taste
Directions:
Version 1
- To make egg wash, mix 2 eggs in a small bowl, add ½ cup of half and half. Add Bayou Blend seasoning to taste.
- Put 8 legs in the mixture to soak
- To make the breading mixture, add 3 cups of Zatarain’s Frying Mix (or any breading mix) and some Bayou Blend seasoning to a larger bowl and mix.
- Take the legs from the egg wash and coat them in the breading mixture one at a time and place them on a separate plate. To double coat - dunk them in the egg wash again briefly and again in the breading mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet to 320 degree and place the breaded frog legs in and cook till golden brown.
- Plate and enjoy!
Version 2
- Take 8 frog legs and place them in a small bowl and season with Bayou Blend seasoning and 3 tsp. of sesame oil. Mix with your hands.
- Add ½ cup of soy sauce and let the frog legs soak for 2 minutes.
- Dump the entire bowl onto the griddle and cover with basting dome.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Plate and enjoy!
Version 3
- Melt 1 cube of butter on the griddle and place 8 frog legs onto the butter
- Add hot sauce and Bayou Blend seasoning to taste
- Cover with basting dome.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Plate and enjoy!
