Brioche buns
¼ lb burger patties (pre-shaped, not smashed)
1 slice Havarti cheese per burger
Burger pickles
1 slice bacon per burger, cut in half
Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
Mike’s Hot Honey
In a small bowl, mix Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce with Mike’s Hot Honey to create the burger sauce. Adjust to taste and set aside.
Preheat your griddle to medium heat.
Cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the bacon grease on the griddle.
Place the brioche buns cut-side down on the griddle and lightly toast them in the bacon grease. Remove and set aside.
Place the burger patties on the griddle and cook for about 4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
Add a slice of Havarti cheese to each patty during the last minute of cooking and allow it to melt.
Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patties on the bottom buns. Top each with two pieces of bacon and a couple of burger pickle slices.
Drizzle the BBQ hot honey sauce over the top, then add the top bun.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
