The Double Triple Dilly Smash Burger
Recipe by Todd Toven
Serves 2
Time: 20 minutes
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients:
- Spicy dill pickle potato chips, or Crispy Dillies
- 1 pound ground beef
- Cooking oil for griddle
- Salt and pepper
- Diced onions
- 4 slices dill havarti cheese
- Brioche buns
- Mustard
- Mayo
- Sliced refrigerated pickles
Directions:
- Preheat a Blackstone griddle to medium-high.
- Crush the dill chips and mix them with the ground beef. Shape the mixture into four 3-4 ounce meatballs.
- Oil the griddle with a paper towel. Place the meatballs on the griddle and press them with a Blackstone burger press (you can use a piece of parchment paper between the burger and press to prevent sticking).
- Season the patties with salt and pepper. Add more oil to the griddle and saute the diced onions.
- Flip the patties to ensure they are fully cooked, then top them with the cheese and onions.
- Place the brioche buns on the griddle and toast until browned. Remove the buns from the griddle.
- Spread mustard and mayo on the buns. Place one patty on top of the other and place them on the buns.
- Add the pickles to the patties and top with the buns.
- Enjoy!
