Butter Noodles

Ingredients

  • 16 oz of bowtie pasta, cooked
  • 1 full stick of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of Blackstone Essential Blend Seasoning
  • 3-4 tablespoons of grated parmesan
  • ¼ cup of frozen peas
  • Fresh cracked pepper
  • Juice of ¼ lemon
  • ½ cup of reserved pasta water

Directions

  1. Cook the 16 oz (1 box) of bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain the pasta and place it in a gallon zipper bag.
  2. Preheat a griddle on low heat and add ½ stick of butter to the surface. Once melted, add the cooked noodles.
  3. Coat the noodles with the melted butter for 1-2 minutes. Add half of the reserved pasta water and the remaining butter.
  4. Sprinkle the Blackstone Essential Blend Seasoning over the noodles and let them cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Add the grated parmesan cheese to the noodles and continue cooking for another 2 minutes.
  6. Toss in the frozen peas and mix them in with the noodles.
  7. Remove the noodles from the griddle and squeeze the juice of ¼ lemon over them. Sprinkle with fresh cracked pepper to taste.
