Todd's Cajun Style Shrimp Steam

Time: 45-60 minutes


  • 1 stick butter 
  • 1 (12-oz package) cooked beef kielbasa, chopped
  • 2 pounds raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4-5 red potatoes, chopped
  • 4 ears of corn, halved
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 lemons
  • Blackstone Cajun Seasoning, to taste
  • 1 (12-ounce) can Mountain Dew or Mello Yellow
  • Hot sauce, to taste
  • Parsley, chopped for garnish
  • Aluminum foil


  1. Turn Blackstone Griddle on to medium-high heat.
  2. Line a Dutch oven with aluminum foil then add half a stick of butter.
  3. Add kielbasa, shrimp, garlic, potatoes, corn, onions, and 2 lemons in chunks to the Dutch oven.
  4. Cut remaining lemon in half and squeeze lemon juice on top.
  5. Sprinkle Blackstone Cajun Seasoning, Mountain Dew/Mello Yellow, more seasoning and half a stick of butter on top. 
  6. Add hot sauce.
  7. Place Dutch oven on griddle top and let cook.
  8. When shrimp is fully cooked, remove Dutch oven from heat. 
  9. Sprinkle parsley on top.
  10. Enjoy!
